Celtic Rebel is a 3500BHP Tug.
Mainport purchased the vessel in 1995 when we launched Celtic Tugs, a towage comapany to provide services in the Irish Ports and around the Irish coast.
The name "Rebel" was given to this vessel because Mainport was founded in Cork and has its HQ in Cork, the Rebel County of Ireland.
The Celtic Rebel has been on a long term charter to the ESB since 2000 and currently operates on the River Shannon.

Celtic Isle is a 4000BHP Multi Purpose Tug.
Mainport purchased the vessel in 1995 when we launched Celtic Tugs, a towage comapany to provide services in the Irish Ports and around the Irish coast.
The name Isle was given to the vessel after the Limerick rugby song "There is an isle" where our customer Aughinish Alumina is based.
The Celtic Isle has been on a long term charter to the ESB since 2000 and currently operates on the River Shannon.

Celtic Banner is a 3400BHP Tug.

The name Banner is called after the Banner County of Clare where the ESB is based, for whom we provide towge services.

The Blue Marlin is a Bunkering Barge.
Mainport purchased the Blue Marlin in 2008.
The vessels main purpose is to supply bunkering to vessels on the Shannon.
Based in Foynes, the Blue Marlin currently operates on the River Shannon.
