Farewell to Ocean Spey

Mainport were sad to see our Ocean Spey leave our fleet when we delivered the ship to Castellan in Spain for her new owners Open Arms. The Ocean Spey serviced the 2 Kinsale Gas platforms for last 5 years, as a follow on to Mainport providing previous ships over 35 years. Unfortunately the gas fields are now depleted and the gas platforms are all decommissioned. Photo is of ship safely berthed in the sunshine of Spain, with all Mainport logos removed from the ship and just before Irish flag was lowered for the last time. We wish her new owners every success with the operation of this fine ship.
