Ocean Mainport, a subsidiary of The Mainport Group, the privately-owned international marine services company headquartered in Cork, has today announced its acquisition of the UK-based shipping company, Havila Rescue Ltd.

Mainport Acquire New Offshore Support Vessel

Mainport this week completed purchase pf the offshore supply vessel Smit Lloyd 32 from Seacor, based in the US and one of the world’s largest supply boat companies. Mainport have renamed the vessel “Mainport Oak” and she is now starting a medium term 4 year contract with Compagnie Generale de Geophysique (CGG) who are now the worlds largest seismic vessel fleet.
